July 5-6 marked the 89th Annual Conference of the Pilgrim Holiness Church of NY. The Conference started to have their ordination service the first night of annual conference instead of during camp time. This year it was my turn to be ordained (They have a three year requirement to hold a conference license before ordination).
The service took place Monday evening at 7:00 PM. Josh Peck from Zanesville, OH was also ordained. Following that part of the service; they had a commissioning service for Rev. Stephen and Kezia Mills, the new missionaries for the Brazil field.
Tuesday morning marked the beginning of much of the business for the Conference. Bro. Case was re-elected conference president on the 1st ballot. John Peabody was re-elected conference vice-president on the 3rd ballot. Kendall Straight was re-elected conference secretary on the 2nd ballot. Jonathan Fall was re-elected conference treasurer on the 1st ballot.
Special thanks to Keith & Mary Wilson from our church and Rev. & Mrs Timothy Montgomery, Massena NY (Clarissa’s cousins) who sat in place of our family; since they were unable to be there.
As Pilgrims we are trusting God for what He has for us; as we continue to worship and serve Him.
