Winterlude in Ottawa

On Saturday February 9, 2008 we attended the Winterlude in Ottawa (for my American readers this is the capital of the free world).  It was a heartwarming occasion for me as we entered the capital of the Dominion of Canada.  Tears lingered in my eyes as I glimpsed the colossal image of Parliament Hill.  The Peace Tower stood tall in the morning sky, reaching as it were to the clouds, in testimony of a nation that stands for peace.  It is every Canadians dream to see the centre of power in our nation and the very building where our tax dollars are spent.  Below you will find some pictures of Ottawa and how Canadians spend winter.
