Spring Revival Update
Posted by Joseph on March 31, 2008
Pastor Jeff, Vanette, Elizabeth and Rebecca Moore arrived in Kingston on Thursday evening. My wife and I had a wonderful weekend with the Moore family. My wife took the ladies around town and showed them some of the finer points of Canadian shopping at stores like Dollarama, Value Village, and No Frills. I took Bro. Jeff around to some of our church families homes.
In our services we had several guests that came. The Friday night service was at the parsonage and we had 30 people, including 5 visitors (for 2 of the visitors it was the first time they had ever been in any kind of service). Our Saturday evening service we had 27 people, including 7 visitors. The Sunday morning service we called our “Friend Day” service. Our goal was for everyone to bring a friend with them. We had 46 people present with 8 visitors from the community attending.
It was a wonderful weekend in which we felt the Holy Spirit moving on hearts. Friday evening Bro. Jeff spoke on “Leftovers.” He talked about how we shouldn’t be giving God the leftovers of our life, but our worship of Him and our communion with Him should be number one on our list for each day. Saturday evening he preached from 2 Chronicles 7:14 and Sunday morning he preached from Romans 4:1-3.
It is exciting for some of the people that we have been praying for, over the last 9 months come to service. God is not finished working in Kingston, nor is He finished working in Canada. Please pray for our Church and for the Kingston community, that true revival will take place in hearts and lives.

Way to go! That’s fantastic! Keep up the great work. We’re pulling for you and Clarissa back here at “home”.
