Do you really believe that?

The prisoner was being led from his cell on death row to meet his impending doom. Following close behind him was a clergyman reading to him concerning the torment and punishment of hell. Suddenly the prisoner stopped and turned to the clergyman saying “Stop! Do you really believe that? If I believed that I would travel the length of England on my knees over broken glass to warn people of such a place.”
